Impeller puller help

Recommended Posts

highlife02

I bought a sea dog impeller puller and it doesn't seem like the jaws are long enough. The jaws are roughly 2.5"long. If any one could measure their jabsco that would be appreciated. Thank you

the jaws are not meant to get the edge, they grip in the rubber.

Easier yet; pull the cover, spray a little WD40 in there, bump the motor over (just enough to spin the impeller a bit), then pull it out with needle nose pliers.

I have a Sea Dog puller also and it works just fine. As 05 Barefoot said, it will grip the rubber. Just push it in as far as you can.

Agree, the engine bump is the way to go along with the puller.
