2012 Txi Surfing/Boarding?

Recommended Posts

I know the wake boarding would be just 'ok' behind a Response, but is it even possible to surf without the rope behind a 2012 Response with Power Wedge and loaded with sacks?

yes it is, the boat throws a pretty good wakeboarding wake with a wedge gives it a better lip IMHO (from seeing a 2010)

how much extra weight do you have to put in for surfing?

I've got 750 lbs in back with a floating wedge. Works well. You can always add a second 750 if you really need to.

We surf our 2011 LXI after the water gets rough and we are gassed from skiing. Wedge at 100 percent and position people in the back corner, no ballast used. All works good. Not that we really know how to surf but I can go without a rope with no real issues.
