So im wanting to get into surfing I got a ronix kole and got up first try only problem after a few days with the handle I cant find the sweet spot so I'm thinking my wave is to small I am only using the stock left tank and front tank with the wedge down how big of a fat sack should I get or what should I do?

You'll get lots of opinions because there are many variables. I have same boat. 750 in rear corner. 750 on seat or floor on surf side. 500ish in locker and wedge down. Surf all day long ropeless, up and down pocket and control pocket length with speed. We typically run 10.5 mph.

Yep same boat here.

750 rear trunk

500ish ski locker

350's under the side seats (2 on regular side but only 1 will fit on goofy side so usually a 350 in the seat)

1000 bow sac but rarely more than 3/4 full

manual wedge down

This works best with 5 or more folks - less than 5 then I bring out sacs for the seats

11 or so for skim style riders and 12 or so for surf style - not GPS'd just a number on my PP

BTW the 350s are antique SL Launch bags that fit perfectly under the seats - still no leaks after 10 years of heavy use.

I have the same boat as well and we get a great wave with the following set up.

10.5 mph

manual wedge down

1100 jumbo v-drive in rear trunk (removed MLS tanks)

370 tube sac under seat

500 stock sac in ski locker

400 v-drive surf sac on surf side of bow

3-4 people spread out on surf side (port side leaving only drive on other side)

The wave has strong push but may be a little steep. We're hoping to be able to make some adjustments that keep the strong push but take make it not quite as steep.

05 23lsv put 1100 wakemakers in rear lockers on floor with reinforced eng comp walls. Stock tanks still under floor in rear. the sacs fit nicely but i think we end up only being able to fill them 90% full.

my stock hard tanks are on top of the floor in the rear locker I just need to know if 750lbs will crack a hard tank

If you are going to leave the tanks in then go with the 750. I just pulled my tanks and went with 1100 to maximize the volume. In addition, there is more space when the bags are empty.
