Sub Box in a 2002 VLX

Hey guys and gals, I'm looking to change the sub placement in my '02 VLX. I purchased it a few weeks ago and while the system sounds amazing, it's got two HUGE sub boxes that almost completely fill the rear lockers! I believe there are both RF punch series and are at least 15", my thoughts were to remove both so I have more room for the fat sacks that share the same locker, and put one under the helm in the heater area. From what I can find by searching, this is where the newer boats have the subs so just wondering if anyone had pics of older models.

I have a digital designs 3500 series 12 in mine. 2.5ft after port and magnet at 40hz?

You can kind of see the dimensions written on the bottom of the box. But I don't have a heater.

Awesome! thanks for the pics that's helps a ton, I figure I can re-route the heater through the box at the bottom corner but wasn't sure how much space was left over for your feet..
