4" seat lift - 2011 V-Ride

I read some of the other threads about raising the seat and decided to build my own bracket. It is 6" tall compared to the OEM standard bracket that is 2" tall - therefore a 4" lift. It is carbon steel instead of aluminum and is powder coated black. The shop that made it made 2 so 1 is still available. Plus I am attaching the drawing for anyone to use.

The lift feels perfect in the driveway but I will know more after getting it on the lake.

For some reason these pictures make it look really tall and awkward but in person it looks good. Maybe I was too low trying to capture the base in the photo. It is rock solid and feels perfect for my 6' frame. My 5'5" wife tried it and really likes it with the bolster up. The lake will tell.

WOW I rode in a boat with a 6" lift a week ago, my shoulders were over the windshield with the bolster seat down.

This is true. Only now its a 4".

OP- nice work looks good. 4" seems right on the water. On the trailer I thought it was still to tall. But add a hair of bow rise and its perfect. If your interested in selling the other let me know..

I have asked liljohn if he is interested. I will let you know if it is still available.

I am not sure about fitment for other years or models. I recommend looking at the pictures and/or bracket drawing to determine.

liljohn is out. Remaining bracket at shop is $255. However I asked them to quote quantity discount and the price drops to $135 each for qty 10. But I havent had that many inquiries so my guess is best bet is to use drawing and get your own bracket made.

I would like one too. I have a 08 VTX. Does anyone know if BU seats uses the same bracket on all of their seats?
