Rockford M262 (6.5") vs M282 (8")

Is there a decent amount of audible difference between these 2 speakers? I currently have 4 of the 6.5's in my boat but want to add the 2 bow speakers up front. I figured I could take the 2 by the cup holders and move them up front. Then I could buy a set of the 8" speakers to replace them. I understand the mounting location will need to be modified. Just want to know if it would be worth my time.....? Looks like the 8's have a slightly lower frequency response..48Hz compared to 53Hz

OR should I just wait until I decide to upgrade all my cabin speakers and go another route entirely?
