Autozone or anywhere like that has LED's for cheap. If you don't want you're stock lights all you have to do is hook the new LED's up to the same wires and WAAHLAA you have LED's on a switch...

Here's where I got mine. The rope lighting is sweet because 1 roll can do the entire boat. They also have IP68 totally waterproof stuff. I went the RGB route, but a single color roll can also be cut and fed 12V where ever you need it. Thumbup.gif

Here's my project.

Don't just look at the tubes. They have some other types out that are way better at autozone. I went with the 8 pack of little round ones. They aren't the best their but for 16$ the work great I used 3m velcro tape and cut it to size then just stuck it too my carpet worked great. The kicker is it didn't break when I filled the 1100lb sacks up in the back. Need pics just ask.

I got these for my boat and am slowly working on installing them. The company is XKGLOW and have a large selection of different types of LEDs.

I like that 12 piece kit with remote. That's a clean setup with all the plug and play ends. Thanks guys

Yeah those are nice but also about 5 times as expensive as the single color from an auto store...

I am running the Super flux chips and the flexible strip lights from Oznium. Both are waterproof and I have had good luck with them.
