Battery Option 3

Recommended Posts

I'm considering ordering a new boat with Battery Option 3. Any reason why I should not go with this option?

What is battery option 3? I thought the dealers put the batteries in the boat

It's a dual battery system that includes a Voltage Sensing Relay? I installed a similar system on my 08 VLX and it seems to work very well. I'm inclined to order the factory installed version on my new boat but I wanted to hear experiences from the crew before I committed to this option.

I'm not big into aftermarket options, but it is a definate plus in my book. It's nice to not have to worry about being stranded because of a dead battery!

My new boat has it, but yeah I'm not sure what the limitations capabilities of it are..... Guess I will be finding out shortly.
