Getting tired of having to refill the front ballast every 10 mins when we surf. Where or what is the easiest location to put a check valve on the fill line to keep the tank from auto draining?

I ran my fill line completely around the bow to the port side leg of the bag, as the starboard side of the leg is the drain. this seems to eliminate any drain from my front bag...........
