2005 VLX loosing power very quickly with big jolt, then ok?

Just had an epic Lake Sonoma Camping trip with the family (not the best water but good times camping....) We have had this VLX for only a couple of months and am still gettting used to it...this thing is so sweeeeet....

With 20 boats trying to ski (sorry 18 of them trying to tube...) there was lots of bumps to say the least. Noticed a couple of times when hitting bumps the power seemed to cut momentarly, boat would beep, stereo cut real quick and perfect pass would reset?

I have not started poking around but thought I would see if anyone else had this come up before?

Also seems the center MPH gauge light is burned out, is this hard to change???
