The whole switch didn't explode, just the wire springs. Does anyone know if I can make some new wire springs from the hardware store or do I need to get them from Perfect Pass?

there is nothing magic about that switch.

any normally open momentary will do just swell.

i've replaced my oem switch with a ribbon switch because it's just a much nicer interface.

no hunting for that 'nub' on the oem switch.
