Touch-up black windshield trim

Could anyone give a good suggestion on touching up the black winshield moldings on my 01 LXI? I have minor scrapes and chips. Thanks!

There are quite a few articles on here explaining how to strip and polish the windshield trim instead of trying to touch it up. The end result looks incredible. Just finished this project a couple months ago myself.

Quick fix is a black permanent magic marker.

2nd the permanent marker..obvioulsy not permanent but covers for a while.

Thanks! I was considering the marker trick, but thought I'd see if someone had another long term fix. Does anyone have pictures of the strip and polish end result? That might be a good winter project for me.
