Now that looks like a ton of fun!! If you don't mind watching your gas gauge drop rapidly too ;)

When you really get after it, it's about like flushing a toilet. LOL!

I don't have any pictures of it on this computer, but here is a youtube link. The footage shows the extreme craftsmanship of both Schiada and Boostpower, outlining just how well these boats are put together

Alexi at Boostpower made this video while we were there. Towards the end there's footage of the boat running on the trailer.

It's a cruising boat that can really go if needed (read: When someone on the river comes alongside us. ) We run the Muskegon River/Hardy Dam Pond which is roughly 25 miles of navigable water, but the nice thing about a 24' boat with a deep-v means we can run some of the bigger lakes that Michigan has to offer, including the "Big Lake' (Lake Michigan/Huron/St. Clair, etc). At 70 MPH through whitecap-sized chop, you can set a drink in the cupholder and it won't spill. The thing has an unbelievably solid ride.

But I do have to confess, usually every time it's out, the pedal does meet the floorboard at least once.... :innocent:

Scary part is, 70 isn't even "2nd Gear". The fastest run we've ever made was 104 on the GPS Speedometer, and it still had more.....but we were running out of river. The only way to describe the acceleration from 30MPH-90MPH is violent. It'll pin you back when you step on it. My Dad is used to speed though, he used to run a 120 MPH Alcohol Injected Kurtis Runnerbottom on the MDBA/ADBA/NDBA/IHBA (Now Lucas Oil Drag Boat Racing Series) circuit.
