I agree. Mostly because it was a mini tower. I heard last year that XTP would still build them if you contacted them through Monster Tower. Matter of fact, one of the Milwaukee Open tow boats had one on it last summer, so Malibu was using them in 2010. Only downfall is that Moomba was buying that style tower before they could get the Illusion.

I agree with you both on that. I tried to get the CFO into a 2003 RLXI but she wasn't going for the additional cash outlay. I think that will be my next boat as well in about 10 years.

So is that setup a extreme mini tower?? i really like the look of that setup its not too big and bulky looking

If/when you do start shopping, go newer than an '03. '03 was the first year of the RLXi and the ergonomics weren't very good for the driver. They changed the seating/dash layout in the years following.

Ha! Think again, pops! I was talking about buying an '04...with 12's coming that makes it an 8 year old boat. Either way we're both wrong, and I can't afford either.

And my knee hurts, my contacts are dry, and I'm hoping my workout goes well tonight but I did something to my neck/trapezius last week.

heres our 03 response lxi with a swoop brand tower

i believe its a mini tower. the ones ive seen on the net are alot taller. its easy to hit your head on, but you wont do it but once. the bimini top will just fit under it, but you have to let the tower lean back when you put it up. that keeps your head out of it. the speakers are also on top instead of under it. i really dont care if the speakers are on there or not. it looks great on the water because the boat sits so low. we met an xtar coming down i-40 last weekend and it looked like it was gonna clip the bridge it was so tall.
