Ballast pump frozen

I have two portable ballast pumps to fill fat sacs and I discovered that both motors are frozen on them. Anyone have any ideas on how to get them working again or am I screwed?

Can you take apart the part of the pump that has the impeller in it and see if there's something in there hanging it up?

Are you sure they're getting 12V power and ground?

Yeah, two dead and I'm with Pete... make sure you are really getting juice to them. Those cig adapters frequently have fuses inside if you unscrew them.

I tried them both in different outlets including one on a different boat, it's not the power. I've heard they can freeze up if not used for a period of time. I'll try taking it apart this weekend.

If they are usual tsunami pumps from Fly High, they come apart really easily. IIRC, you push in the on the blue or red tab near the top and the whole stop spins off. However, I would also check for a fuse inside the cigarette lighter adapter. There's almost always one in there.
