I can't find Sunsetter LXI in the Brochure...

I'm guessing its just a package ontop of the LX big question from me is... Is it a V drive?

99 was the first year for the SSLXI I believe. I would assume, based on the model nomenclature claimed by the seller, that it's DD.

Im guessing closed loop cooling is a good indicator of salt water use? That would make me steer clear.

If it was salt, I would stay away but that's just me.

The SSLXI is one of my all time favorite Malibu DD's as well. If the CFO would have allowed us to spend more money, I would have one on the lift in front of the house. I'm not complaining though.....I love my SSLX.

It's a totally different hull...diamond and bigger....not a vdrive

If closed cooling might suggest salt, but so what? MUCH bigger red flags with raw water cooling and salt.

Being a new model it may not have been ready for the photo shoot. Might even have been a mid season addition. Probably had it's own mini flyer brochure.

Lots of info in the 2000.

VW has a habit of changing cars mid model year. 99.5 Jetta had it's own dedicated flyer before each model had it's own IIRC.

"new trailer" might also be indicative of salt water usage. Although the town it is in looks to have some decent fresh water options nearby.

Sunsetter LXI Wider beam, Longer Overall, lots of storage, huge trunk in rear, great ski wake (certified ASWA tow boat) add tower, wedge and ballast and it can throw a pretty good wake, add enough ballast and you could surf, but I would say keep it to skiing and wakeboarding, skyskiing and you would be very happy.
