You need a rag and a small screwdriver. Take the cap off the fuel rail, you will see a valve much like a bicycle tire stem. With the rag covering the valve , use the screwdriver to carefully depress the stem inside. This will bleed off the pressurized fuel. Bleed off a little at a time rather than all at once to minize fuel spray.

I unhooked the lines from the fueld pump and was not able to locate any filter screen. Can you tell me if the screen is in the line at the bottom or at the top? Do you have a picture of where it is located or can you update the pic you attached? Thanks.

The screen is imbedded in the "feed" line going to the F.P.

In this pic, you need to remove the green boxed line and, using a mirror, look up, into the pump at the screen.

I do not condone removing this screen, only shooting carb. cleaner up into it to remove any debris.
