Oil Pressure

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have recently acquired a 2010 Malibu VLX and had the pleasure of putting it in the water this past weekend. What a dream in every respect.

My only question is, what should the oil pressure be running at when at idle and at 30 mph or so? I thought it seemed a bit high around 60 psi and a bit above. Perhaps not?

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you,

Dan

idle 20-40, under power 50- 80...pressure never a bad thing (that I've ever heard anyway). oil viscosity can affect.

Lack of use and running in salt water also can raise oil pressure  JUST KIDDING 85 is right, hmm I mean correct.
