I want to change out my guide posts from the square tube with the carpeted wood to a round pipe. Anyone know the diameter of the pole so I can get one from HD or a fence shop?

Thanks

I'll measure mine for you when I get home tonight - unless someone beats me to it.

Our '00 Extreme has 2" square tubing. I figure you should be able to add the plastic tubing over that. Is there a reason the 2" square tubing wouldn't work inside the PVC?

Let me know what you come up with, because I would like to do the same thing on my Extreme.

One thing you could do, is cut the square tube just above were it comes out of its holder. Then insert a round pipe into the short guide pad tube. Then you would need to weld the two together and paint.

I went to extreme and had them make mine. I have an 04 and they did a great job. They powder coated them to match and I believe they are 2". They charged me $150.00 and had them done the next day.
