Honycomb Floor Replacement

Recommended Posts

I know back in the day I read a post on this and I have tried to research it. I am looking into an alternative to replacing the floor with yet another junk honeycomb square. I would like to use a composite material which I think someone mentioned a material made by Mantex, however I found nothing about them on the internet. My last choice would be Marine grade plywood. as one of the appeals of the later Malibu' is their composite construction I would prefer to use to go that route if the price is acceptable. By the way this is a 2003 23LSV

Thanks in advance all help is appreciated.

Marine starboard is used all over the boat but you would have to reinforce it with aluminum beams. Not sure how it would hold up in a structural situation like that.

I don't know of a plastic off hand that will take the load over that big of a span.
