ECU

Recommended Posts

I managed to nick the bottom with my prop. I quickly put the throttle in neutral and shut down the engine. When I was clear of shallow water, I attempted to restart. Engine wouldn't even crank. ECU prompt came over the digital display. Only after disconnecting my batteries for a few minutes and reconnect was I able to restart. No problems since. Baot is running normal. Anyone ever experience this?? Could it have been an oil pressure issue?

Update... it happened again. Only difference is I was at the ramp. Had to remove the negative terminal to the starting battery.
