Water leaking from under dash

Recommended Posts

So I know this topic has been beat to death but after 30 minutes of searching I can't find any posts on it..

The last trip out to the lake my impeller housing sprung a leak. Almost at the same time water started pouring from under the dash. It looks like it was coming from the depth gauge module but I can't confirm that for sure. But certainly from under the dash. I have figured out the impeller issue but it was odd at the same time to have the dash leaking. Thoughts on making my dash stop leaking?

Thanks, Brian

Is the water hot or cold?

Cold its coming from the lake water and is most likely from your speedometer pick up line

Hot - heater core under the dash is leaking

Was the boat winterized? Sounds like the boat incurred some freeze damage this winter if I had to take a guess.
