The right rear ballast fill pump is blowing fuses and has stopped working on my '08 VTX. Several older post recommend taking it apart and making sure the impeller is not jammed up with debris. My question is, how do you access this pump on an 08 VTX? Earlier this year both the drain and fill pumps in the center ballast had to be replaced due the same problem. Anyone heard of a bad run on ballast pumps in '08?

Never mind. I found it and it was jammed. Thx to the previous post on this

Sometimes these pirahna pumps seize up but all you have to do is pull the motor off the top and spin the impellar by hand and then it's usually fine.
