Did the tour

I took the family up to Knoxville, TN Wednesday of last week to watch my beloved Rebels play the Vols. Our route took us within 5 miles of the Loudon plant, so I talked the CFO into letting me stop by for a visit. Kerri Jones, the PR lady at the TN plant stayed late and showed us around. Wow, that place is awesome. I walked around pretty much in a daze the entire time, so most of the memories are kind of fuzzy.

Saw the power wedge...very nice.

Checked out the 247... very long, but not overly tall like the 25.

Saw the Illusion X in person...officially my favorite tower now.

25 on the trailer... I'm 6'4" tall and couldn't see into the cockpit, that boat is huge. My little boy could only talk about the boat with the bathroom after we left.

Kerri made sure we had some nice factory tour t-shirts before we left, can't say enough about Malibu hospitality.

If you haven't been, you need to go.

I'm gonna reserve comments on the game other than to say that we absolutely stink this year. Seeing the boats come up the Tennessee River to the game was pretty cool though. I got a pretty good view of that seeing that I was on the TOP ROW Mad.gif . We saw a few Malibus coming up as well.

p.s. sorry no pics, all I had was my video camera.

Ditto that. Kerri took care of us on our tour in August. All the folks that we met there were good peeps.

Sounds awesome. I have a friend who just moved to Knoxville, and I'm planning to take the tour when we are down for a visit.
