Malibu Warrenty

Recommended Posts

Finally after 4 years I'm going to own a Malibu, I pick it up in Vancouver Thursday. How ever I get a call from the sales guy telling me that Malibu will no longer warrenty the tower or the accessories. Has anyone else heard this, they are saying 2010 and newer?

Everyone is saying all kinds of diffrent things. last i heard at malibu school is that anything put on the malibu G3 tower has to be malibu made. like the titan tower speakers and racks. the only onther speakers that i have heard that they are okay with is the wet sound speakers. they are doing this bc they are tired of warrantying tower stuff out for problems that are caused from non malibu parts. so be smart and safe and go with malibu stuff to save your warranty.

Check with Malibu Corp and not the sales guy’s word. Then get it in writing.

The boat is a Brand new 2008 247 lsv with all stock lights and speakers and they will not warrenty anything or any issues maybe bushings he said, and maybe structure no gel coat either.

Thursday is tomorrow! You better get all the warranty specs spelled out for you asap, the absense of a gel coat warranty would particularly bother me.

It's your money and your decision. Don't let go of your bargaining power until you are completely satisfied in writing.
