instrument panel not working

Hey guys,

my gauge cluster isn't working. i can turn the backlighting on but none of the gauges are functioning. I'm assuming this means that it isnt the fuse. does anyone have any ideas what it can be?

Does the boat run?

I had this happen to me last weekend in my 06 wakesetter - turns out the cutoff switch was not engaged. My lights would work, the engine would crank (but not start), and the gauges would not work. I took the red safety cutoff clip off and put it back on - all systems go!

It turns over just fine and purrs like a kitten.

Had the same problem on my '00 Sportster. Ended up being a fried computer under the dash, due to water creeping up the speedo tubes. I replaced the computer and plugged the speedo tubes. Now using a GPS speedo.

Sounds like a bad MDC control unit.
