How tight should the tower be in relation to the hull. I have an illusion tower that has about a 3/32" gap between it and the hull, if I push on the front of the tower, I can get it to contact the hull. Not sure if the tower should have this type of flex? I have not seen any of the stress cracks that alot of you guys are talking about but that is what I would like to prevent.

Yea, thats not right. On a conventional tower I'd say get under the combing pads & try tightening the nuts. But the big garage door spring in some of those Illusions should make it interesting. Might be a dealer item at that point.
