Floor board

Recommended Posts

While finishing up getting my boat ready to be docked this week I noticed that the floor board that covers the exhaust pipes and the drive shaft one of the corners are rotted. and I really don't want someone to go through that and break something else. For the time being i flipped the board around and put the broken corner facing toward the back of the boat which works great for the time being. My question is Can you buy a replacement board or is it best to have an upholster redo the carpet and just cut a new board myself?

Rotted? There isn't supposed to be any wood on the boat. I bet if something along these lines happened it'd be covered under the lifetime hull warranty

that was my thought that the floor was not wood I will have to check on this. From what I can feel it almostseems like the layers in plywood seperated. Can anyone else elaborate on this if possible

Its honeycomb aluminum, not wood.

Just turn it around and you'll be all set. If you get a new one the carpet will look funny.
