Draft Depth

Recommended Posts

I believe it's to the lowest point on the rudder or prop. If I'm in 2' of water, I've been sweatin it for a couple of feet.

Okay. That would make the most sense.

Thanks.

Does the draft of my 08 vRide (24") refer to the lowest point on the hull or the lowest point of the boat i.e., prop, rudder or tracking fins?

TOM? Any insight?

LOTS of history on this question.

Tom was sticking by the OLD manual on his Response that said 16" of draft.

Others, (me included) said it was LOTS more..... in fact, more like 21" ~ 22", once you included the prop/rudder. We shared photos and measuring tapes etc etc etc.

Lots of name-calling and chest beating and challenges.

Tom agreed to budge a bit..... but just couldn't agree with the 20"+ range.

I think once the dust settled, it was generally agreed that is WAS over 20"..... Tommy stopped talking.... and the issue died.
