VTX Power Wedge

Just demo'd a 2009 VTX with wake hull and power wedge. I ski and board. Very nice. Did not use the power wedge. But the question I have is, when I was skiing there seemed to be a lot of spary coming up in between the boat and the platform. Is this normal with the power wedge? It almost seemed like the wedge was down a little. Has anyone seen this before?

Thanks

I have a 2007 VTX with diamond hull. We don't get water spraying up except when the power wedge is just slightly down (even though the gauge says it is fully up). A type of rooster tail trails behind us - we cannot get quite up to full speed when that happens. Can't remember whether I can just push the up button some more or whether I have to lower it completely first before raising the power wedge back up fully.

Yup, that's normal. I'm pretty sure it's your rudder breaking through the water.
