Stress Cracks

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that posted on my last post. Since that post a week ago I have talked with Malibu directly. I have been assured that it is ok to use the boat this summer and address the cracks when I put the boat up for the winter. Mike Sanchez with Malibu did a great job explaining everything to me and also reassuring me that no matter what my options where open come Oct or Nov when we address these cracks again. I feel that it isnt a bad idea to use the boat this summer and see if more cracks occur or if the cracks get worse. This will be a good guide come October if I want to have cracks fixed or explore other options. Thanks to everyone that posted and will def keep everyone updated on what happens over the summer with the cracks. Enjoy your summer and ride hard!!

Congrats. Sounds like you'll get to enjoy the boat this summer after all.

So I'm curious, in the other thread you mentioned that the cracks were like 1/4" deep. I kind of got the impression that you would be taking on water if you put the boat in the water. But it's going to be OK?
