How do some people have their pictures displayed full size and mine all come out as a thumbnail you have to click on?

The thumbnail is when you attach a picture, the full size or partially reduced, until you click on it are images linked to you picture gallery on the Crew or other free sites such as photobucket or flicker etc.

I need to revisit this. I am still having the same problem as mellen_mpz. When I post a pic it's always a thumbnail. How does one post a pic so it covers more screen area so it can be seen without squinting or clicking? I just created a photobucket account but still don't see how it's done.

In photo bucket cut and paste the"direct link" and then click the "insert image" icon in the reply to/post tool bar. It's the icon that's 2 images to the right of the smilies icon and insert the html you copied there. For example, right click this image and then click properties to see where it actually is located.

Since I did not click on "attach this file" from my hard drive to the crew's server, I linked this pic. from a separate provider, I gets shown full size.

edited to keep it motorsports orientated.

Here's what you did wrong. This is the code that you posted:

[img=http://http//i146.photobucket.com/albums/r270/vcastronovo/Malibu%20VLX/rosebushesNewmalibu011.jpg]

Here's what the correct code should look like:

[img=http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r270/vcastronovo/Malibu%20VLX/rosebushesNewmalibu011.jpg]

Basically you just had an extra http// after the initial http:// that was hosing up the address. It's a web address for the image's location wrapped in image tags, that's all. If you're linking from Photobucket, they have a built in code link for you on each pictures page. You just need to look for the one under bbcode, then copy that & you can paste it straight into the post.

Tell me about the Camaro.

My older brother had a 67, 68 (R/S I think) and then a 69 Z/28.

He traded the Z/28 for a 67 Corvette.

I was the envy of all the middle school kids when he came to pick me up after track practice!

One more time!rosebushesNewmalibu011.jpg That was it...

There ya go. Now one more tip. It's easier for people to read if you don't put the image in line with your text. So what you had was this:

One more time![img=http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r270/vcastronovo/Malibu%20VLX/rosebushesNewmalibu011.jpg] That was it...

I would do it like this, just adding some line breaks:

One more time!

[img=http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r270/vcastronovo/Malibu%20VLX/rosebushesNewmalibu011.jpg]

That was it...

That looks like this:

One more time!

VLX04,

It took me a long time to learn how to use all the tricky stuff like adding in hyper links and pics. and stuff. Just keep at it, eventually you'll get it.
