"No GM Data"

Recommended Posts

I've got a '94 Echelon w/ a 350 mag. When I crank the engine, the dash reads "No GM data" then "throttle position sensor error". One time it read "Oxygen Sensor error"- the boat doesn't even have an oxygen sensor. Does anyone know what I need to do to these codes corrected?

Try disconnecting the battery overnight. Have the battery tested too, thats a classic symptom of a bad battery.

We have the same issue and the GM data can be a bad computron backup wire or whatever, ours has a little red wire that goes to the batt, once connected it was better. We get the OX error sometimes and the dealer said don't worry. Clik and Clak give the best advice on check engine lights and codes:

"If it doesn't feel broken, it isn't"
