Just recently bought a 91 euro skier f3. Took it out for the 2nd time this past wknd and it started to knock. I pulled the motor sunday and before I tear into it I was going to check pricing on a new motor for this boat, my family works for gm so I know i could get a discount but was just wondering what a good website was to look for a crate motor 350 5.7L 260hp

We recently had to replace a Mercruiser thanks to a cracked block, (wont point fingers). We found a guy on ebay out of Texas and paid about $800 plus @200 shipping for a rebuilt block and had the boat shop swap over fuel inj. oil pan etc. With install it ran us about $2300.00. Iw ould check ebay, Michigan motors has them new and reb. . Also call your local engine/ machine shop these guys have hook ups on rebuilt Merc blocks thru their network. Good luck and enjoy the new motor! Make sure the seller guarantees it wasn't previous cracked and repaired.
