Water Temperature sensor? where and how to check?

'05 iRide with an integrated water temperature sensor in the speedometer, it always reads 125 degrees. This used to work and seemed pretty accurate. Any idea where the sensor is and how I would check it for damage? Or any other ideas what might be causing this?

Also, I bought the boat used and can't seem to locate the instructions for this, how do you set the time in the integrated speedo display? anyone who can give me the quick instructions would be really helpful, thanks in advance.

I have an 04 sporster with the same type of problem. To set the clock, Use the mode toggle, upper part, and hold for a few seconds and the hours will be displayed. When the hours are correct, press and hold the bottom of the toggle and the minutes will change. My air and water temp got switched from english to metric and reads only 18 and 19 respectfully. I am not sure how I changed this setting, but it happened when I re-installed the battery and tried to set the clock. The clock is fine, but the 2 temps are out of wack. I called my dealer, he gave me his ideas, but they did not work. I posted this problem last week on this site, but only got 1 reply and it did not work either. Perhaps by chance the sender went out? It is incorperated with the speedo wheel located in the front of the engine compartment. I still am hoping that someone will actually know how to change the readings back to english.
