Stargazer option.

Wondering if anybody has information on the newest version of Stargazer for PP? I was holding off on doing the upgrade because there was talk of a "newer" version. Any update would be welcome.

I installed the Star Gazer upgrade last season. I did have a lot of problems with it but PP was always there to help me correct the problem. At the end of the season last year it seemed like I had all the bugs worked out. I then heard about the latest software upgrade and contacted PP. They immediately sent out the upgrade, but I haven't had a chance to use it yet. PP has been around for a long time and I'm confident in their product and they have answered all the questions I've thrown at them.

I just updated StarGazer yesterday to the newest software, Version 7. Improvements that I know of.

You now have 4 skier settings instead of 2, feather,light, normal and heavy.

You can calibrate the system without a course or hand timer.

System settles in quicker on short set-up and after making a turn.

I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but I never really had any problems with the the old software. I upgraded for the better control after turning. I was tried of having to remind the driver about having to disengage and reengage the system during turning around to go back thought the course.

You can order it direct from Perfect Pass. You just take the cover off the module and plug the updater in, turn the power on and wait, your updated.
