PERFECT PASS

I HAVE A 2000 ESCAPE AND WANT TO AD SOME TYPE OF PERFECT PASS. WE WAKEBOARD AND SURF, I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT PERFECT PASS (OTHER THAN WE NEED IT). MY DEALER WANTS TO INSTALL PERFECT PASS STARGAZER (I THINK) FOR $1600. REALLY DON'T WANT TO SPEND THAT MUCH, ANY ADVICE WOULD BE MUCH APPERCIATED. THANKS ANDY

Type in "speed contol" & read up on the the topic under General Discussion here on the Crew Forum. Read up on what is available from Perfect Pass under "Product" on their site "pefectpass.com" Then call Perfect Pass. They'll be able to answer any additional questions you have. ask them what is the latest version of Stargazer available & when the next version is due out. No point in buying a version you may need to spend money further upgrading.

If you are a Do-it-yourselfer, you can install Perfect Pass Stargazer for $400 less.

I agree. With the desire, patience, and a few hours, its a doable install. You will learn a lot about your new boat as well. Fishing the lines will be the most difficult part.

If your not a do it yourselfer, and you want it working 100% right out of the gate, your dealer may be a better choice.
