plug gap in mercruiser 260 hp?

about to change plugs and picked up a set of AC MR43T's and was wondering what the recommended gap is. I have a 95 Response with the efi 260 hp motor. I looked on Mercury's site and found nothing but new motor specs.

Spark plug gap is .035"..........not .016". You might be looking at points gap rather than plug gap.

DOH!! Makes me wonder what I gapped mine at last time I changed them. Hopefully I went with the right information. I better check! All i have at work is my address book, and in that I wrote gap-.016 along with the other engine info. But I don't have .035 written anywhere.

A '95 Response will have electronic ignition, the plug gap for that is .035". Timing will be about 8 deg BTC, you will want 32 deg BTC total timing at 4400RPM.
