Got this email in response to my ad on my boat. Wondering if it's just another scammer.

= Where is the boat located ? (city ? State/ )

I think I would respond from whatever spam catching email address you might use.

I doubt this is legit but, why not answer the guy's questions and mail him some pics?

If all of a sudden he has some wealthy client (likely) that wants to give you an international cashier's check for $5K more than you're asking, you got your answer.

edit, after checking their website, I think I'll contact them about this product that they have listed under their "vehicles" tab.

Yup. That's what I figured. I've seen a bunch of the scams use other people's boats though. They get all the real owners pics then post them as their own.

It wouldn't hurt to tell him the boat is in Washington, and ask him if he is still interested considering (if he really is in Fl.) that it would be a lot to ship it. I've gotta think there are tons of Malibus available in the southeast. In Florida.

Edit again - Looks like they are an import/export expeditor type of deal.

Sounds fishy, but I would call the number from your work or something and see if you get anyone on the other end that sounds legit!

I see this topic is a little out-dated. But I can tell you Shop USSA is a shipping company that is located in Florida. Shop USSA helps their overseas customers to buy boats, cars, etc here in the US and ships it to wherever their customer is located. So it's a shame you didn't call when you got the email. Shop USSA only contacts sellers if their customer wants to buy. So you might have missed a good deal there. If there's any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
