Power Wedge Calibration

Recommended Posts

I have just purchased a Malibu VTX 2008 and while I was out wakeboarding behind it for the first time I played around with the position of the wedge and the gauage didn't seem to be working properly. My next step is to calibrate it which I know the steps of how to do but my question is, what classes as in the up position when calibrating. I dont have a problem with setting all the way down but am confused as to were 'up' is (maximum wake size). I am assuming it doesn't mean all the way up as in before you actually deploy the wedge.

Is it at say 45 degrees or 30 degrees???

Any help would be great

When you are calibrating, up is up, as in 90 degrees stowed away, so make sure you raise it long enough to get there. I would deduce that the calibration is based on the two known stop points - all the way up, and all the way down.

BTW - Welcome to TMC. Gotta love those VTX Clap.gif
