I'm in a Major Hurry, Need Cover Leads

My Vride is ready to be picked up but I can't! It doesn't come with a cover and I don't have the money for an Evolution Cover right now!! I'm not buying a tarp, anyone got any leads on a cheap (almost disposable) cover that would get me through the winter? I see them on ebay for $80 for a 20-22ft boat. Anyone use one of them? I have the Titan3 tower, will those covers fit if I fold the tower??!!

Help!! Please, I want to bring my baby home.

Menards sells generic covers, if there is one in your area.

check with your dealer to see if they have a shipping cover. Not sure about the newer ones but the shipping covers malibu used to use make a great winter cover.

Those shipping covers will go the best job for you, that's if you can find one that's not all ripped up. Dealers usually just throw those away anyways so you should be able to get one for nothing.

I saw generic covers at Costco.

No details as I was not in the market.

It was one of the name brands that I recognized, but with the Alzheimer's I don't remember which.

I called my dealer, he said all their boats come shrink wrapped and that he didn't have one of those covers available? He also said the ones on ebay will not be wide enough as the tower folds down but is still plenty higher than the windshield.

The Iboats website has been exhausted, nothing left.

I'll try menards and costco to see what they got, thanks, keep the suggestions coming!

If it is just for the winter, try Wal-Mart. You will have to fold the tower down but 80.00 is in the range. You might be able to modify to go around the tower as well. Good Luck.

I would find a way to get a decent cover. If you spend 100 bucks to get a cheap cover that is really just adding to the price of a good one. Secondly, a cheap cover will most likely leak and you will have a mess to clean up come spring.

John, I just finished a couple small jobs up there (I'm from Charlotte, NC), we were around Williamsport, PA. Is that anywhere close to you?

I'd like to start a new post but they might be getting sick of me doing that so I'll ask here. Does anyone have a custom cover for their 05-07 vride with a titan3 tower. If so do you remember your measurements for the tower? I very confident that my dealer measured correctly for me but I would love the peace of mind of another opinion.

Thanks again, and by the way, once I have my boat and use it a few times, I'll be able to answer more and ask less, hang with me!!

I am 2 hours south of Williamsport and 4 miles from Blue Marsh Lake.

Be careful if you do go to Williamsport. I believe the Susquehanna will be your only boating option and that river is shallow and has a rocky bottom.

I definately would not put it in the Susquehanna, I've never seen a 100ft stretch without seeing some rocks!! I would be intersted in the Blue Marsh, I would take the boat there for the weekend and then home the next weekend. Just a possibility.
