Mark Overbye gets back the company from Challenger Boats... who he sold to them in January 2007 and worked for them for at least a period of time as their Director of Marketing. I am not sure of all the details but at least maybe Gekko will be around if everyone else goes under.

I'm not fond of their Revo line but for relatively low cost slalom boats, their GTR and GTO look decent and seem to be pretty solid.

I have been in one, its a great slalom and footing boat. Very fast and tracks very well even when the big guys are back there. I'm not sure what the price point is, but its a great performing boat. I would stay on the smaller lakes though.
