Rear Ballast will not fill

I have a 07' 23LSV, i was at Lake Powell in some bad winds and had to put the boat nose in to some sand to keep it afloat, next day after the wind quit, both of my rear ballast will not fill, took the pumps apart and did find some debris in them, so i cleaned and thought that was an easy fix, but no go, replaced the pumps the other day thinking i should be good now, no go, i can grab onto the hoses and it feels to me they are pumping water through the hoses, but i cannot get the tanks to fill, sometimes it seems they will get a little water in there after 15 minutes, but the gauges say 0 and when i drain, it drains them in 10 seconds. can there be pressure or something in those tanks to be holding the water out? any info is greatly appreciated.

No way for the tanks to have any pressure in them unless you plugged off your vent lines :) Are you sure you hooked the new ones up properly and they aren't running backwarks?

Could always take the hose off the tank to see what kind of water flow you're getting. Of course make sure you're valves are open to the through hull opening too :)

Any ideas where those vent lines are, that could be it, i think i hooked up the new ones right, just hooked the power lines up like they were, brown to brown, black to black

The vents are right next to the overflow outlets on the side of boat. Just follow that fitting back to the vent on the tank.
