Shaft vibration

Recommended Posts

SunDoo

Could you pull your prop, put the boat in the water and run in gear to check to see if the shaft vibrates or does there need to be water pressure against the prop. I was hoping this would work as a process of elimination....prop or shaft.

Cheers,

Dave

Spin the shaft by hand and look at the little dimple in the center of the end of the shaft, you can usually see a shaft that isn't running true that way.
