Mobile1 M1-111.....

I was at the local AutoZone trying to cross the Penzoil PZ-3 filter to another one they had in stock. They told me the M1-111 would work, however it is way shorter than the Napa filter it's replacing. Can anyone confirm that this Mobile1 filter will or will not work.

The long version is the M1-302. Go with that one.

Any disadvantage to using the M1-111?? I did put the filter on, however I didn't dump the rest of the oil in yet. If the M1-111 will work, I'll keep it on, if not I'll have to pick up one of the M1-302s tomorrow.

If it's on I would go with it. Buy the longer one at the next oil change. I actually like the shorter ones as they are easier to get out of the boat when its full of nasty oil.

After loosening, I just wrap my filter with a 1/2 gallon ziplock freezer bag and it comes out without a drop spilled. ;-)

I have been using the M1-111 on my HH. The long version will not fit.
