New drive shaft

Where can I get a new drive shaft for cheap. I looked at www.skidim.com but they want $300 for one. Anyone that has any ideas I would really appreciate it.

I think 300 bucks is pretty reasonable. You would probably have a hard time finding a new one for less. I had one that had a .005" bend and the machinist straightened it to less than .001". You could try that, it cost me $60.

marine hardware is most likely the company that makes it, you could call them and see if their prices are any better.
