95 Echelon Engine and Tranny Oil Question

Recommended Posts

Long story short my manual is in another state. I have the Mercruiser 350 MPI (260HP). I need to change the Engine Oil and Tranny Oil today, what viscosities should i be looking for?

I think that the mercruiser is 25W40, and the tranny standart dextron III, can someone confirm? The edge is not open yet!

I have a 95 Echelon with Mercruiser 350 Magnum Ski and it called for 20w50 and tranny is dexron III. Down here in the Florida heat we use a higher viscosity anyway per Malibu dealer.

Cool thanks, so you think that the 20w40 is good, mercruiser says that all their inboards should use that now...

Thanks again for the info
