Trailer bearing grease

Recommended Posts

WakingMeHappy

I needed to check grease to my tandem trailer bearings as they haven’t been looked at in a while. As I was injecting the grease I noticed the bearer cover slowly moving out revealing a blue sleeve. I’m assuming when the blue sleeve is showing that means there’s enough grease. Should the blue always show?

The sleeve will move in and out as you described. I've never seen the blue part but there are lots of different flavors of bearing buddies out there.

Just hit them with a fewpumps every couple trips and you should be all set!

You want to see about 1/8" of blue ring when filling the Bearing Buddies.
