Plumbing for fast fill

My setup is 08 VLX with MLS (but none in the bow Cry.gif ). I'm gonna put rear locker bags along with some other portable ballast. I'd like the rear lockers to fill fast, so I don't want to plumb them into my current MLS (unless I can do that and hop them both up with new pumps?). So I'm thinking dedicated pumps, one per bag (or maybe one for filling and one for unfilling). Anyway, my first question is how do you use one pump to both fill and drain one bag. My second question is should I use the engine-area drain plug as an intake port for the pump, and what should I use as an outlet? I can always just open the lockers and do it old-school. Any directions or pointers to get me along the way? Any advice here is WAY welcome.

The only thing I have to suggest is that you start looking for a reversible pump. This will make it so that you can use the one hole already in the hull. I'm not sure if it will siphon water during cruising. You'll want a really high flow (GPH) pump with outlets that will match up your plumbing to your fat sacs.
