Plenty of ballast to make it lean to the surf side.

this has been discussed at length. in summary: as much weight to the stern and side of the wake you want to surf. b/c of prop rotation , starboard side wake is most favored. re-propping will probably might also be helpful. the boat should lean to weighted side. passenger seating should also be crammed to where the ballast is as best as possible. every pound counts.
